This is one of a range of yachts made in the 1930's by Lines Bros and sold through the famous London store Hamleys (which Triang/Lines Bros owned at the time).
She has a hollow hull with a separate pitch pine deck.
The hull is in good condition but has been repainted. There are a couple of marks in the paintwork on either side of the yacht.
The deck is in really good condition with all original fittings and cut plank lines. The distinctive painted red edge to the deck has suffered some paint loss.
The rig is the original bermuden.
The sails have the blue striping indicative of the 1930's. There are some stains and a line of holes across the mainsail. The rigging has been renewed.
However, overall the condition is good considering her age and how much sailing she must have done.
The stand is made of mahoghany and is not as old as the yacht. It does display the yacht well
This is a lovely pond yacht from the hayday of pond yachts.
