This 1930's Alexander yacht is all original but is in need of restoration. It has been in the same family for at least 3 generations but was last sailed about fifty years ago.

The hull is in good order but the varnish has bubbled and although quite attractive could be renewed. The deck has its original varnish but is in a similar condition.

All the deck fittings are original including the braine steering and the Heather Elf plaque.

She has her original wooden mast and boom but the mast has been broken and will need to be repaired or replaced. The jib boom is alloy and is original.

The sails are not in good condition and can really only be used as templates for a new suit.

We are now having great difficulty in finding Alexanders and so restoring one is very worthwhile indeed.

The stand appears to be original but will require some attention.

If you would like further photos of her condition please do not hesitate to ask.
