This Bowman is all original although its condition shows that it has been sailed. It appears to have been overvarnished from new which was quite common for yachts which were purschased for sailing.
The hull has its original paintwork but there are some marks and there is some paint loss on the bottom of the keel.  The bow transfers have a little damage but the deck transfer is perfect.
The sails are showing the effect of being sailed and are quite delicate. Also there are some water stains and a tear at the tack of the mainsail.
The sails are good for display but would need to be replaced should the yacht be sailed again.
Original Bowman are very collectable now and this example is offered at a price commensurate with its condition. 
 
The stand is relatively modern. It is included in the sale if required.
