This fascinating book was published in 1938 and gives an insight to the maritime world just prior to the Second World War. There are descriptions of approx 80 ships of various designs which used to ply their trade on the Thames or visit from further afield.
Each ships description and history is accompanied by a drawing by Pelham Jones.
The book is in very good condition and it has its original dust sheet.
