Skipper Yachts were founded in 1991 by John Foster in a workshop in Woodbridge, Suffolk.

The Classic 32  was produced around 2000/2002 and, along with the Ocean Racer, was the largest yacht ever made by Skipper. According to "British Toy Boats" many of them were sold to Ralph Lauren for window display.

In later years production was moved to China but this yacht was made in the UK.

It appears that this particular yacht has not been sailed. There is a paintchip on the keel and and a small mark on the bow.  Otherwise the condition is very good indeed.

What is unusual is that, unlike all other Skipper yachts we have seen, the sails are made of cotton and not modern sailcloth. The sails are professionally made so perhaps they were fitted to align with the Classic theme.

As this yacht is around 25 years old the sails have some foxing but otherwise they are in very good condition with no holes or tears.

All the spars, fittings, rigging etc on this yacht are original.

She is ketch rigged with 2 headsails and so looks very traditional.

As she is the largest yacht made by Skipper this yacht is very collectable.

The stand is not original but is included in the sale if required.
