The Star Meteorite is one of the 3 post war BR range of yachts.
In our experience the Meteorite is the rarest of the range. It is difficult to understand why this should be as the colour scheme is, in our opinion, outstanding.
However, this is one of only a handful that we have been able to offer for sale in 15 years of buying and selling Star pond yachts. In the same period we have sold many examples of the red and green Planets and Comets.
This particular yacht has the lovely round stern of the early models. However, she has  been sailed a lot. It is difficult to be sure how much of her is original and what has been replaced.
The original black paintwork and yellow varnish are in good condition although the varnish has some water marks. The Meteorite transfers on the bow are perfect but the deck transfer has some damage.
 The mainsail is original and the stamp is present and correct but the jib may be a replacement.
